We can all use some mental health support at some point in our lives. Whether you’re convinced, curious, or skeptical about therapy, I’ll do my best to make it as useful, genuine and comfy as I can for you.

But really: you're probably not really excited about starting. The time, the cost, talking to a stranger about your messy stuff, putting it off till now. It’s okay with me - together we can tend to your very real needs. (yeah, they are TOO real needs.)

I love ADHD/ASD diagnosis and counseling – behavioral treatment & therapy, thorough and accurate diagnosis without the expense of a psychologist, and real options for what to do next. We will talk about ADHD in every dang session, because it tends to affect all the parts of your life if you have it.

Our sessions will have topic changes and meandering without losing the plot, kind and honest back-and-forth, understanding (even when you don't want it) with a little cussing when it helps, more information that you could possibly want about ADHD, and action-focused ideas to try – so that you know yourself better, and can take care of yourself better, a little at a time.

An accurate diagnosis with relevant treatment can change your life and how you understand yourself. And you’re someone who, like everyone you care for, could use some appreciation and understanding.

hi, I'm Becky.

I'm glad you're here.

personal: I’m a cisgender female, married, with kids (people who help me to be a better human and a better therapist). We have lots of pets and projects, love the outdoors, sci-fi stories & our little adventures.

I will never stop supporting people in accepting and taking care of themselves, across the full, nuanced spectrum of human expression and experience, heritage, culture, gender and sexual orientation, and body experience.

You probably don’t much care about the lingo, but in case you do - I love Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. ACT (you just say ‘act’) is a research-supported behavioral approach to learn realistic awareness and willingness to experience, instead of avoiding life and missing out. Trying curiosity about feelings, thoughts & behaviors without judging yourself for being a human who has these, learning and practicing self-compassion, and choosing behaviors that connect you with your values - these are the core of ACT and why it makes sense to me, personally and clinically. ACT can help you live how it matters to you, and not just "feel better.” I’ve seen it support my clients with all kinds of needs. I’ll also include self-compassion, internal family systems, trauma-informed and strengths-based therapy.
